Facilitated by two Indiana electric cooperative finance professionals, this course covers what every cooperative leader should know about accounting and finance. Participants will engage in a hands-on exploration of cooperative finance and investigate things like expenses, income statements, balance sheets, complete a simulation, and leave being able to tell the story of their cooperative from their Form 7.

• Explore common assumptions in budgeting and the impact those have on the cooperative’s financial reports
