Political Action Committees

image showing pac-meeting.jpgIndiana Electric Cooperatives supports state and federal level candidates through our two political action committees (PAC).

IEC’s state level PAC is Indiana Friends of Rural Electrification (Indiana FORE).

IEC’s federal level PAC is Indiana Action Committee for Rural Electrification (ACRE).

Resources from Indiana FORE and ACRE are used exclusively to support state and federal candidates who understand and consistently support the issues and policies impacting Indiana’s electric cooperatives.

Indiana FORE and ACRE receive financial support from cooperative directors and eligible employees of Indiana’s electric cooperatives. In addition, several member cooperatives offer their members the opportunity to support ACRE through the Co-op Owners for Political Action program.
