Cooperative Leadership Edge Application Favorite Cooperative Leadership Edge Application 2026 The deadline to apply is January 16, 2026. The Cooperative Leadership Edge certificate program is an immersive, results-driven learning experience that goes beyond traditional leadership training, shaping confident, capable leaders ready to impact Indiana’s electric cooperatives. Purposely redesigned around a dynamic cohort model, this year-long program connects participants with a community of peers to explore the core behaviors, mindsets, and strategies of effective leadership, including leading self, engaging others, and leading teams. Participants will learn and implement new skills through interactive courses, one-on-one coaching, structured and self-directed activities, and a capstone project. Those who previously completed the Leadership Edge program are welcome to participate again in this new format, which features refreshed content created in 2024 to provide fresh perspectives and updated learning experiences. New Program Structure Cohort Sessions: Two, two-day sessions featuring interactive courses, networking, and evening dinners to deepen peer connections. Additional Learning: Participants complete one elective employee education course outside of the cohort sessions to tailor the experience to their goals. Capstone Project: Each participant applies new skills to a project that drives tangible results for their cooperative. To earn the Cooperative Leadership Edge certificate, participants must complete both sessions, one elective employee education course, and the capstone project within one year. Program Objectives Understand how leadership behaviors directly impact people, performance, and cooperative culture. Explore a variety of leadership styles and when to apply them. Build practical leadership skills — and the confidence to use them. Reinforce learning through individualized coaching and meaningful application.
