Do you know a middle schooler who goes above and beyond to serve their community?
The Youth Power and Hope Awards recognize Indiana students in grades 5 through 8 who are making a difference in their communities through volunteer work, school activities, or service organizations such as 4-H, Scouts, or church groups.
Up to five winners will each receive $500, be honored at the Indiana Electric Cooperatives’ Annual Meeting in December, and be featured in an upcoming issue of Indiana Connection, among other recognitions.
Click here to apply before October 2, 2026.
Past winners’ community projects have included raising money for Riley Hospital for Children and donating toys for its patients, collecting coats for the less fortunate and providing police officers with stuffed animals to comfort children in crisis situations.
