This year’s camp is changing locations to Happy Hollow Children’s Camp in Nashville, Indiana.

Each summer, Indiana’s electric cooperatives sponsor a fun, all-expenses-paid camp for incoming seventh grade students to discover energy, teamwork, and leadership.

Camp Kilowatt is a fun and unique camp experience for students entering seventh grade in 2026 across Indiana. Kids will have the chance to learn more about energy, explore hands-on activities, make new friends, and enjoy classic summer camp fun. This dynamic three-day camp includes the following activities:

• Electricity generation and transmission education
• Summer camp cabin experience
• Rock climbing and ziplining
• Archery
• Alternative energy education
• Horseback riding
• Live line safety demonstration
• Swimming
