IEC promoted Becky Strait to senior regulatory consultant.

Strait joined IEC’s regulatory compliance team in 2021, bringing with her almost 25 years of electric utility safety and compliance experience. Before joining IEC, she worked in safety and compliance roles at Indiana University, AES Corporation, and Hoosier Energy.

“Over the course of an accomplished electric utility career, Becky has built a record of leadership, expertise, and service,” said Ryan Heater, vice president of government relations and regulatory strategy.

Strait earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in life sciences from Indiana State University. She is a trained facilitator for ABS group incident investigation, OSHA 518001 health and safety management systems, and Reliability Center PROACT root cause analysis. She is also a Rural Electric Safety Achievement Program (RESAP) observer.
