Sparks, Trimble Join IEC Regulatory Compliance Team

Indiana Electric Cooperatives named Bill Sparks and Mitch Trimble to its regulatory compliance team. They will serve the association’s membership as regulatory consultants.

Sparks and Trimble will partner with member cooperatives to provide regulatory expertise and support that enables compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. They each bring a unique and deep expertise to serve the Indiana electric cooperative membership.

Sparks was previously a department of transportation compliance manager at MacAllister Machinery Company, where he worked with employees to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as company policies.

Trimble was previously a compliance officer with the Office of the Indiana State Chemist, where he coordinated with pesticide programs, lab managers, and investigators to direct and implement statewide pesticide and fertilizer compliance and enforcement programs. Trimble was also a member of the Greenwood Police Department, where he served as a police officer and was a field training officer, firearms instructor, and SWAT team leader.
