The Vendor Impact Partner (VIP) program is IEC’s new partner engagement model designed for more intentional, strategic partnerships with companies that serve Indiana’s electric cooperatives.
The program provides a structured way for vendors to engage across multiple IEC events, professional sections, and touchpoints throughout the year, rather than participating on an event-by-event basis.
This approach simplifies participation for partners while allowing IEC to better align vendor involvement with member needs and priorities. Benefits to IEC members include more consistent and relevant vendor engagement across meetings and events, stronger alignment between vendor participation and cooperative needs, and increased continuity and relationship-building with trusted industry partners.
The benefit to businesses that serve electric cooperatives include brand visibility, exclusive access to key networking and valuable sponsorship opportunities that best meet their business objectives.
The current VIP member companies (as of March 19) include:
- Bloom Spatial
- CFC
- CoBank
- Emerald Transformer
- Federated
- FUEL Merchandise
- Homestead Advisers
- Hoosier Energy
- Milwaukee Tool
- NRTC
- OneSource Restoration
- SkyHelm
- Solential
- Tallman Equipment
- Toth Associates
- United Utility Supply Cooperative
- Utility Truck Equipment Inc.
- Wabash Valley Power Alliance
The VIP program supports stronger relationships among IEC, our member cooperatives, and the companies that serve them, while creating a more strategic and sustainable approach to vendor engagement.
