Members of Jasper County REMC marked National Cooperative Month with dorks of art inspired by the cooperative and its history. The cooperative sponsored the Jasper County Art League’s October show, “Capturing the Current – An Artist’s View of Electricity.” The jried show featured dozens of paintings, sculptures and other visual works based upon how artists see their cooperative and work it does to keep the lights on.
