Rockville, IN —The Parke County REMC board of directors appointed Chadd Jenkins its new Chief Executive Officer effective Jan. 11. Jenkins was previously manager of engineering and operations at Tipmont REMC.

Jenkins, a native of Sullivan County, has been in the electric industry for the past 14 years. He began his electric cooperative career at WIN Energy as a journeyman lineman.

“I am excited to be a part of Parke County REMC and serve their membership in this capacity,” Jenkins said. “Parke County REMC has a longstanding commitment of service to our communities and I look forward to continuing this commitment in the future.”

Jenkins received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is a graduate of the NRECA Management Internship Program.  He and his family reside in rural Rockville.
